The Vagabonds!!!!
So I have been up to something really cool lately. I have been writing, singing, recording, and playing percussion with a group called The Vagabonds. There are seven of us…maybe all we need now is a Snow White. The line up is Eric Frampton, Alan Yates, Vanessa Olivarez, Emily Kate Boyd, Brian Bisky, Angela Motter and me. It started as a simple hang on Tuesday nights. We would just get together and show each other songs that we have written. We did an informal writer’s in the round, and the group has now booked its first official show. 11.11.07 at Dad’s Garage Theater in Atlanta, GA.
And that is the twist. We will be performing these shows in small theaters. We are getting out of the club scene and getting into venues that are normally reserved for drama. With that in mind, we have encompased other media formats into our show. Hence, The Vagabonds will be a mulitmedia event hosted by seven writers. We will be singing songs, telling stories, interacting with the audience and having the time of our lives.
